Accommodation Description:

GATEWAY TO DOUBTFUL SOUND and FIORDLAND  Tranquil bush setting, beside the Waiau River our comfortable old-fashioned home offers a peaceful and relaxing stay, with views through the trees of mountains, river and lake. Our guest rooms are ensuite, warm, with tea and coffee making facilities. Doors to cottage gardens where you can relax and listen to the song of the birds. Boats departing for the Majestic Doubtful Sound and the Manapouri Underground Power Station are a two-minute walk away through Mountain Beech Trees.

We are a middle-aged couple who have been fortunate to live in many parts of N.Z., including the Wilderness of Fiordland. Breakfast includes Fresh Fruits, homemade bread & jams, yoghurt, etc. and a boiled free-range egg from Hamishs girls.
We, Don & Joy,  Millie  (Bearded Collie) and Archie (Lowchen) would love to meet you and make our spacious cottage your HOME AWAY FROM HOME;
