Ashande Retreat Bed & Breakfast has stunning views overlooking the Waitati valley and out to sea in an environment that allows you to stop and reconnect with yourself.

The 15 magnificent acres of native bush, home to native bird life such as parrots, kereru, tuis, fantails, hawks to name a few. Residing at Ashande Retreat are also our pet cats, dogs, sheep, donkeys and goats. The fauna is exquisite with radiant seasonal colours from a variety of plants. Foxgloves that bloom with the vibrancy of colours of the rainbow. The natural pond being the home to magnificent water lilies and goldfish. Frog sounds can be heard at night and if you are lucky you may see the dragon flies that live there. Apart from a beautiful place to stay, this is a place to stop, unwind and listen to your own rhythms, a place to rest and enjoy.
