Gleniti offers comfortable farmstay accommodation, and, the tranquility of Nelson's countryside. Our farmstay is situated in the hills behind Brightwater, Nelson, and is only 15-minutes drive to Richmond and 30-minutes drive to Nelson city, with some of Nelson's arts & crafts either en-route or nearby.

Gleniti is a 200-hectare property running sheep and cattle, with forestry and native bush blocks. The property offers good road access for walking, and from the heights of the tracked area, there are magnificent views across the Waimea Plains to the sea and coastline beyond. Gleniti is in a peaceful setting, close to swimming and fishing rivers - the Lee and Wairoa. Guests may wish simply to relax in the garden.

Guests may want to just relax and enjoy the comforts of our home or the peace of our garden. Farmtracks provide good access for walking. A 4WD farm tour - also see the views from the top of our hills over the Waimea Plains. Beautiful swimming rivers, and fishing are just down the road. En -route to Nelson and out to Abel Tasman Park visit the many arts and crafts of the Nelson region. Enjoy also the vineyards and cafes so close. You can choose to do as much or as little as you wish.
