Apartment has a kitchenette with full size fridge/freezer, microwave, dish washer, pantry, and 4 burner gas hob. Nestled in a bush clad section on Te Ahuahu Ridge, with it's Mediterranean 'flavour', the apartment includes the use of the courtyard with olive trees, small kitchen garden, and a BBQ (and soon to be finished Pizza Oven), which is perfect for alfresco dining! With its' luxurious carpet, outstanding views, quality Manchester, and gas fireplace, Black Gecko is so relaxing all year round!

Piha has it's own art gallery, library and a small store.  Please note that Piha doesn't have petrol, supermarket, and ATM's.

Many world class surfing competitions have been held in Piha, and Karekare, (famous for being the location for the filming of 'The Piano'), is just a short drive away.
