PETRA APARTMENTS are situated at Brighton beach,just 20 minutes drive out from the centre of Dunedin city. We have four fully self contained, queen  bed apartments, that can also sleep one or two children in the lounge on air beds or sofa /bed, if required. Or we can link two apartments together,to make a two bedroom family unit. One larger luxury suite is especially suitable for longer term stays. It has a full sized, catering kitchen,dining room, lounge with  T.V. and DVD player, a laundry, and two toilets.   The other units have shower and toilet ensuites,smaller kitchens, with tea and coffee supplied,and T.V.& video players. All four apartments have walkout balconies, and all rooms command spectacular views out over the ocean, beach, and surrounding coastline. The carpeted room have in floor electric heating. There are large wardrobes, and ample space for everything. Beds have electric blankets fitted, and bedside clock/radios.

The  apartments are situated on the first & second floor, and are accessed by an elevator / lift from garages below on the ground floor. They can be easily accessed by older people, and wheelchairs if required. We have wireless broadband connection for laptop computers.

 Complimentary Continental Breakfast supplied in your rooms for  1-2 night stays. Thereafter,available by arrangement with the manager at $5.00 per head. 

Brighton is a beautiful little seaside township on the south east coast of the South Island of New Zealand. It is an outer suburb of the city of Dunedin,  the second largest city in the South Island   Dunedin has an International Airport link to some major Australian cities, such as Brisbane,Sydney and Melbourne, operated by  Air New Zealand &  Virgin Pacific.  Dunedin abounds with a host of interesting things to see and do,  from its Scottish designed buildings,to a wealth of various wildlife attractions, and top sporting facilites, World renowned Otago University, an art gallery, historic stone churches, a half day historic train trip up the Taieri Gorge, and lots more .

Other Information:

Normal rates are $130.00 per night for a couple, but with a surcharge of $10.00 for one night stays only.  10% discount applies after 1 week, 20% discount applies after 2 weeks, 30% after 3 weeks. Thereafter, the tariff is negotiated on a weekly basis with the individuals.
