Situated in the middle of Rangiuru Bay, Lake Tarawera, only metres from the water's edge and backed by native bush, Honeysuckle Cottage is a newly restored loved family holiday house. It is spacious with bright interiors and generous decks, a new kitchen and two and a half bathrooms. Being two storied, the glorious views of lake, mountain and bush can be enjoyed from all rooms. The stairway is gentle and safe for young and old. Two families or a grandfamily are well accommodated here.

Having a jetty right in front and boat ramps nearby, the property caters for both fishermen and boating enthusiasts. Our cottage is also on the edge of a reserve which has a Rotomohana clay/pumice tennis court on it. The location is ideal for swimming and kayaking and other water sports, but also for walking,mountain-biking and photography.

Being only 18 kms from Rotorua our cottage is well located for the many activities available in the region such as mountain-biking, luging, and tourism. Rotorua and the surrounding area is renowned for its  cultural and geo-thermal attractions.
