Accommodation Description:

Manapouri Retreat is situated within 3 minutes walking distance from the beautiful Lake Manapouri in the South Island of New Zealand. The accommodation is fully self contained with TV, full size oven and cooktop, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine, toilet and shower. It sleeps 2 comfortably with one Queen size bed but does have a Double fold out sofa bed if required. There is only one room much like a very large hotel room so most suited to couples.

Position Position Position... that part is taken care of with a 2 minute walk to the general store and cafe and a 15 minute walk to the local pub and restaurant.  To top all that it is located on the road to Pearl Harbour  which is the starting point  for boat trips to Doubtful Sound.
 
Local attractions are close by with Fiordland National Park famous for its walking tracks, jetboat rides and  Te Anau township is a short drive away with some lovely NZ local products.  Don't miss out on the Te Anau glow worm caves and a boat trip to the world famous Milford Sound.
