Marianne and Rene welcome you warmly to Moonlight: our European style Bed & Breakfast in a character home with high wooden beams, beautiful veranda outlook and lovely gardens.
Enjoy unsurpassed views overlooking Lake Tekapo, the church of the Good Shepherd and the vast mountain ranges of the Mackenzie country. Lake Tekapo is halfway between Christchurch and Queenstown and is amongst New Zealand's top 3 for sunshine hours. New Zealand's highest Mount Cook and its World Heritage Park is just 75 minutes away.
Marianne loves meeting other people and preparing a healthy breakfast with home-made bread and fresh yoghurt. She has put a lot of effort in decorating Moonlight into a cosy house where you can be at ease and feel at home. Rene, a hiking and former star-watching guide, is pleased to share his experience of the mountains, natural history and astronomy. He has spent one year of his life hiking in the Himalayas. 
All our beds have high quality mattresses and warm goose down duvets. We offer complimentary coffee and tea-making facilities. Wij spreken Nederlands und wir sprechen Deutsch.
