Self-contained one-bedroom cottage accommodation on scenic Plummers Point Peninsula. Close to mineral hot pools and jetty. Walnut Cottage - self-contained with queen bed (sleeps 2). Kowhai Suite - Wing of house with own entrance-double bed (sleeps 2). 15 mins north of Tauranga on SH2 in semi-rural area overlooking Tauranga Harbour. Kowhai Suite with conservatory and outside entrance.

Walnut Cottage is situated on scenic Plummers Point Peninsula and we overlook beautiful Tauranga Harbour. We are a semi-retired couple who invite our guests to enjoy the tranquility our "little-corner-of-the-world" has to offer.

Take a picturesque walk to the end of the peninsula with views towards Mt. Maunganui and Matakana Island or a 2 minute stroll to the waters' edge where you can relax and enjoy the peace of the estuary, fish from the jetty or just watch the boats dancing at their moorings.

In the vicinity are mineral hot pools, fountain and quarry gardens, tramping trails, golf (spare clubs available), lawn bowls and eating houses.

Our breakfasts include freshly squeezed orange juice (in season), a selection of cereals, yoghurt and home made jams and bread. Our semi-rural retreat is close to Tauranga city, popular for its shopping, fishing trips and sightseeing.
