TAKE A BREAK AT WELLINGTON'S COASTAL PLAYGROUND.Bob and Maggie welcome you to the haven of Konini. You will enjoy a walk or swim at the endless sandy ocean beach, have a game of golf on the adjoining golf links, or simply sit on the veranda and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the large garden. Being only 1 hours drive from the Interisland ferries it is the perfect stop off. Both the Homestead and the Cottage are of Lockwood solid timber construction. Bob, a cabinetmaker, has crafted all the furniture. Maggie has developed the large garden.
CAFES & RESTAURANTS ARE WITHIN EASY WALKING.
THE HOMESTEAD SUITE : A traditional B&B in its own wing of the main house. The suite comprises queen bedroom, an adjoining guests sitting room overlooking the garden & private ensuite bathroom. Guests may have breakfast in their suite or join us in our dining room. $130 p/night double breakfast included.
THE COTTAGE : Self contained & situated in the garden. Tastefully furnished offering a spacious 70 Sq metres of self-catering accommodation with fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms ( one queen & one twin), lounge with cable TV, and laundry facilities. Breakfast can be provided by arrangement. Directions: Turn off SH1 at traffic lights to the Beach. 4 km to automotive garage. Take right fork then next right. 1km to Konini Cres. $160 double p/night self catering. A 15% discount is offered for stays in The Cottage of 2 nights or more 1 April- 30 Nov. (Excludes Public Holidays.)
