Accommodation Description:

Awapiriti Lodge is a countrystay bed and breakfast nestled beside the Maruia River, renowned for it's excellent trout fishing.  Our property is an operating farm of 116 hectares of mostly native forest with walking tracks, backing on to a national park.  We carry cattle, deer and a few sheep.  The house is a very comfortable 4 bedroom, two-storey building, with two ensuite B&B rooms and a separate lounge for guests.  Our home is in a peaceful setting, surrounded by an extensive garden with abundant bird life.

Only five minutes from the Maruia Falls and ten minutes from the famous Swingbridge in the Buller Gorge, Awapiriti Lodge is in an excellent location for day trips to Nelson Lakes or the Maruia Hot Springs.  A full breakfast is included in the tarrif and a delicious home-cooked evening meal is available with a little notice.
