North Piha beachfront’s,
a Piha Sea Verge House, Shipwreck & Camping Options, in a perfect spot in a unique part of Auckland NZ.   On your scenic descent into Piha’s little village, making no turn offs, travel past the Piha Store and Piha Cafe, (downtown Piha), keeping as close as possible to the sand and surf, follow this road which has a beach view (about a kilometre of road has a sea view on your left) and you’ll come to Barnett Hall and look for our accommodation sign right on the beach too   Right on the beach (for surf checks).   Go back in time in our 1970's very NZ bachy home in a fun kiwi spot, with a shipwreck in the backyard sand dunes, right next to the North Piha lookout of next door’s United North Piha Lifeguard Service for swimming and boogie boarding between the flags.   There’s a maintained, easy beach access from the back yard (no roads to cross to the sea), with Plenty of beach space to spread out for activities. It’s a flat sandy walk from the back yard along part of the 3 km beach to take away bar, shop, café and the other surf club at Piha (home of the popular TV show, Piha Rescue), R.S.A. and Bowling Club (last 3 restaurants/licensed bars).   Piha Sea Verge is Opposite bush walks, water falls, swimming holes in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park (sub tropical rain forest).   Downstairs comfortably sleeps 7 + 5 camping or bunking in. There's an East Bush Front 5 bed dorm room & the North courtyard double room, & a 5 person camping option, negotiated with live in Host upstairs. May - Xmas pricing starts at $600/two nights or $1295/week. Rooms have freeview T.V. DVD and video players and a DVD/video library available.   Easily accessible to indoor/outdoor living area, the part shaded North courtyard has gas bbq etc. Also basic cooking and dining equipment in the rumpus room, with it's adjoining T.V & games den. (TV cabinet on wheels to watch TV from the BBQ through the den's ranch slider).
