St Arnaud House is a boutique sub-alpine bed and breakfast lodge nestled amongst native beech forest and its abundant bird life. We are within easy strolling distance to Lake Rotoiti. We have two queen bedrooms and one twin single bedroom available, all with ensuite bathrooms. Wireless broadband internet, evening meals are available by prior arrangment. St Arnaud House is heated by log fires and heat pump, making for cosy warm evenings in the winter. St Arnaud House is the ideal base to explore the surrounding fantastic Nelson Lakes National Park. Offering a very wide range of recreational activities, from leisurely strolls along the well-formed tracks beside Lake Rotoiti, to more challenging tramps/hikes and mountaineering that explore the park's wilderness; fishing the lakes and surrounding rivers, giving some of the best trout fishing that New Zealand has to offer; hunting for deer, chamois, wild pigs and rabbits in the park and surrounding areas. Skiing on the nearby Rainbow Ski Field.
